Hello,

I just bought an IP surveillance camera and I can't send email alerts (Gmail), even during testing. I should mention that the motion detector works.

      Port : 465
      Encryption : SSL
      Authentication checked
      Username : my gmail address
      Password for my gmail address
      Send to : my gmail address
      Sender : my email address

      I tried changing one setting at a time, but the test always fails.

      Very well for the settings, except that it’s smtp and not smpt

      You need to go to your Gmail account and enable the "Allow less secure apps" setting: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255

      If you are using "two-step verification," then the "Allow less secure apps" setting is not available. In this case, you need to create an app password that you will use for your camera instead of your usual password.
