Hello, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 3 15" and I recently updated the BIOS that was suggested by Lenovo Vantage (I didn't know it was risky). After that, a black screen with white text appeared. I got scared and turned off my computer with the power button. I then tried to turn my computer back on, but it makes noise for 2-3 seconds while showing a black screen and then nothing happens, still a black screen. I'm panicking, please help me.

I told you to read the manual please to know which key to press to enter the BIOS.
Example: if you need to press F2, when you turn on your PC, press it several times quickly for at least 10 to 20 seconds. If by miracle it displays your BIOS, that’s good, you can then reset the motherboard, basically set it to default values.
If nothing appears, it might mean going for warranty service (nothing means black screen with no white text display, not even a cursor).
A black screen could be due to another component malfunctioning. So first, unplug the hard drives, the CD drive, all connected cables (USB, sound, except for the screen and the keyboard and mouse), then turn it on to see if it works.
The components that could be causing the issue are: CPU, memory stick, graphics card, motherboard.
To answer you:
And if it's possible to return to the previous state there’s no need to send it for warranty? If it works, no need for customer service.
And to return to the previous state, does it delete our data? Yet I explained to you. To fix the anti-start, do you think it will delete your wheels or the radio or the handlebars?
Everything in the PC is still there and good, except for the motherboard if it really is the cause.
