Hello,
Since I received my new Asus ProArt monitor, the brightness changes on its own depending on the windows or programs I use. As a photographer, this change is not suitable at all when it comes to photo editing!
I've disabled all automatic brightness adjustment settings but nothing works...
Do you have a solution? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 91.0.4472.101

Hello,
What version of ProArt is it..?? PA32UCG for example..??
There are also settings in the OSD screen menus
Actually, it’s brand new, it has never worked..?? and what is the seller doing about it..?? -
You go to: settings→system→display→below the bar to adjust the brightness, there is the option:turn off automatic brightness.

Yes, thank you, but I've already done that. By the way, I don’t have the bar to adjust the brightness because I'm on a desktop PC and not a laptop…
- In that case, you need to go into your graphics card settings (often, there is a manufacturer's software, for example: if you have an Intel, you can go into the Intel graphics control software, which is my case). Check with your graphics card.
Alternatively, your screen has a sensor and it decreases or increases the brightness by itself, so you need to go into your screen settings THROUGH your screen.

Here is the manual for this screen, in French
https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/LCD%20Monitors/PA24AC/PA24A_French.pdf
It contains many fine adjustments and settings, not to mention those of Windows.
For example:When the blue light filter is activated, the default settings of the Standard Mode will be automatically imported. Between Level 1 and Level 3, the Brightness function is user-configurable.
You can also reset it to the default settings for a new starting point for your personal settings.
