Hello,
I was wondering if disabling Sysmain could improve the performance of the PC, making it lag less, as I've seen lots of articles saying it should be disabled. But is that true?
And if I disable it, will it remove certain programs and therefore make my computer run less efficiently, possibly leading to corrupted files, missing files, etc.? Or is it harmless to disable it?

Hi, in some cases yes. If your HDD is constantly at 100%, you can disable it

Do you think that when I'm on the desktop doing nothing and the HDD is at 30% usage, I should disable it?
And also, can a high HDD usage cause a game to lag or stutter, or does it have nothing to do with it? -

And then the problem is that in the task manager, it says that the SysMain service host consumes a lot (for my PC) 60MB, even though I've set the value to 0
And when I try to end the task on the SysMain service host, it tells me that stopping this process can cause instability or even the shutdown of Windows.
