Unable to print Brother DCP-195C

Hello
I have an "old printer" that hasn't been used for a while. Recently, I bought paper and ink (my printer is a Brother DCP-195C), and when I tried to print, the sheet of paper came out fine but with nothing on it, even though the ink cartridges are full. Is there a cleaning process I should perform or something else, as no error is displayed?
Thank you.

    Hello,
    Welcome to CCM.
I have an "old printer" that hasn't been used for some time

Probably, if not certainly, the print head is not functioning properly; the ink must have solidified, and therefore no printing is possible.
The only thing to do initially is to remove the cartridges and clean the print head; with a syringe, put a few drops of distilled water into the ink entry holes, let it sit for about twelve hours, or longer, and then try again.
The first prints, if it goes this way, will certainly not be good but will improve over time.
Repeat the operation if the expected results are not achieved.
    Best regards.

The one who doesn't please when arriving always does so when leaving.

    Hello
I've tried everything as stated in the message, but nothing works. If it prints a little, it doesn't last long and everything goes white again, and yet the cartridges are full and it scans very well, only the printing is a problem
Maybe I should buy a new one or keep doing what is mentioned in the message
    Thank you

      Hello,
You specify that this machine scans very well, just a clarification then.
Do you mean that a scanned document prints correctly, is this what you mean?
I had indicated that it might be necessary to repeat the procedure, you specify that it starts printing but that the result degrades quickly, which would imply that the ink in the cartridges is probably having trouble "flowing" through the print head.
Or, as you indicate, you are investing in a recent model, or you continue the procedure described in the first response until the result is better, that's your choice.
      Best regards.

It's up to you, personally I insist that the problem can be resolved without investing in something new.
Now, in the event that you revisit the procedure a dozen times and there are no positive results, it will be time to move on to something else!
      Best regards.
