Hello,
I receive the channels via DTT, a recent antenna directed straight towards the transmitter located 2 km away, with no obstacles.
All are working well
Except one!
France 2, picture OK, sound OK except that every 5-10 minutes, the sound cuts out for about ten seconds and then comes back.
Do you have any idea what could be causing this and what to do?
Best regards
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 88.0

Hello,
I'm not offering a solution... But I also have interruptions, only on France 2 and better yet, only on a cooking TV, (not on another one in the living room)... I would even say that it particularly happens during the ADS... I have the impression that these videos contain a specific encoding that triggers this..??
-- But I particularly blame a cell tower not very far away and exactly in the line of sight of the antenna... the 3G or 4G that interferes with France 2... (or that my TV receives in overlap) and yet, I have a filter at the base of the antenna...
There you go, if that can help you in your research... -
Hello VaVici and jeannets,
I find your exchange a year later. I have the same problem (temporary loss of sound for a few seconds, only on France 2).
Have you managed to resolve the issue or at least confirm where it comes from?
Thank you! -

I confirm, it comes from the Orange telephone relay which is 100m from my house... some TVs filter better than others
A lab truck came to take measurements with a large antenna (the mast is tall) and on the screens, the spectrum and the field were clearly visible...
I no longer have the problem, Orange dismantled its tower to rebuild it 500m further away...
If that's the case, many neighbors have the same issue... But not necessarily all of them...
It could also be something other than a telephone relay... -
Thank you very much for your response, Jeannets. I’m impressed that you were able to force Orange to move its tower. Was this a legal obligation for them? Anyway, since it concerns a collective antenna on the residence in question, I will check with the other residents to see if they have the same problem.

I didn't constrain anything at all... A housing development was built in the area, each house has a TV antenna... and many were disturbed... It became a problem with the town hall...
If we add that Orange set up offices elsewhere and freed up the land where the antenna was, they took advantage of it and bought a smaller plot 500m away and installed their tower/antenna on it
That's the story... it's possible that the agency sent them a letter, but I don't know...??
It's something like this https://www.satenco.com/fr/filtre-4g-lte/11577-triax-tbso-259-filtre-rejecteur-5702663140714.html
If the problem exists, it doesn't mean that all the residents are victims, normally modern TVs should filter out the 4G signals... if the TV is well made...
For collective antennas, it's an issue to be dealt with by the co-ownership...
You can also try a manual scan on your TV, adjusting only the channel for France 2... just a little before or a little after... that might be enough if the reception is good. You can also check if there are several listings for France 2...?? and choose the best one...
