Hello,
I haven't used my cutting plotter for years and I can't remember how to use it with Illustrator.
I've installed the driver and also Cutting Master 2 as recommended.
I still have my vectorized logos that I used back then, but it doesn't cut when I hit "print."
It seems to me there was an option in Illustrator "cut in Cutting Master 2" or something like that!
Thank you for your help
David

Indeed, Cutting Master is a Graphtec plugin for cutting.
Now that it still exists for Illustrator CC, we will need to check on the Graphtec website whether it is compatible or not.
To install something on Adobe CC, it is almost a requirement to go through their download platform. It's a way to lock in sales but also to ensure that the plugin doesn't crash the application.
It should be installed in the extensions.

Thank you for this response.
I thought Cutting Master would integrate into Adobe, but that is not the case.
In short, with Adobe, it seems quite compromised!
Is there another software to cut on this machine?

Personally, I have an old Graphtec and I use Corel-Draw... It integrates directly into the software
And you can find the drawing in the plugin for its configuration on the plotter.. (centering or duplication of positions)
Apart from Corel, there is another editor that is starting to make a name for itself... : Affinity

It’s not free, but it costs significantly less than Adobe!
However, I don’t know if you can incorporate plugins...
