Illustrator only saves as tmp

Hello,

for the past two weeks, Illustrator has not been saving files as ai or pdf (although jpg works).
It does not show any error messages, but when I close Illustrator, the file does not appear in the desired folder. It is only visible in "quick access" and has a size of 0MB.
On the other hand, tmp files are visible in the desired folder.
