Hello,
I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Illustrator CS6 on Mac that was released a few days ago. With this software, I created posters to print.
Problem: my printer has the CS5 version of the software and the document won’t open.
Do you know if there is a way to convert my file created with version CS6 to make it compatible with the older version?

You can save your file in an earlier version of Illustrator. Just click on "save as" -> type a new file name -> after clicking "Save," a second dialog box will open, and at the top of that box, you can choose which version of Illustrator you want to save the file under.
In the worst case, an EPS or PDF may suffice. (particularly for a printer who doesn't need to edit your files)
