Hello
I've noticed for a while that my laptop screen often has a brightness issue in the lower right corner.
I've looked for solutions but I've never found any...
My laptop -> MSI GP73 8RE 287 xfr
Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

Good evening,
This PC must be a bit old and/or its screen has been left on permanently..??
It’s a defect of the backlighting of the panel...
The quickest solution is to replace the panel...
The cheaper and more complicated solution for an expert DIYer would be to change the CCFL tubes in the panel....
You need the dexterity of a midwife, the patience of an angel, and to be capable and equipped to open the panel..
Or buy another computer.. here’s a summary of the options.

Good evening,
Thank you Jeannets for your response,
to answer your question, the PC is not even 2 years old and the screen goes off after one minute
Moreover, this problem is not always present
The first time it appeared was in November 2019 and since then it happens from time to time
Thank you

OK, so if it's not two years old, the warranty should still apply; anyway, this defect must have occurred a while ago...
What’s strange is that usually it's a screen failure with CCFL backlighting... but given the age of the PC, the screen should have LED backlighting, which doesn't have the same types of failures... The manual does mention an LED screen as well...
It's also worth noting that they talk about the keyboard regarding the backlighting and forget to mention the display, which is much more crucial... Anyway.
In this doubt, one could say that it requires changing the screen panel, and it's a 120Hz; it's a shame, this PC doesn't seem bad... In my opinion, you should talk to your supplier and try to get it repaired... because I don't think this is normal...

Oh yes... I'm still amazed and don't understand what was happening on that screen..?? But that's good for you... And how did you find it..?
I noticed that it doesn't happen all the time
when I turn on my PC and this problem is present, it appears and disappears as long as the PC is on
whereas when I turn it on and it is not present from the start, it does not occur until another startup
that said, it might just be luck that since the 21st the problem hasn't reappeared because it seems abnormal that the screen would be linked to the PC's startup
so I will wait to see if it comes back
if it does, I will update the CPU drivers
because my screen is powered by the CPU and not the GPU
