Hello everyone, and a better year 2021 to each of you!
I recently brought out my Dell P2213 monitor with my Latitude 7410
I wanted to use an HDMI (computer) - DP Display Port (monitor) connection with a dedicated cable
When the connection is made, I get the following message:
"There is no signal coming from your computer......"
When I select the Display Port input, I see: "Enter Power save mode", and then the screen goes off...
For your information, if I select the VGA input: "No VGA Cable, the display will go into Power Save Mode in 5 minutes"
I did the "built-in" test and everything seems fine...
So, I don't know where the problem lies
Thank you for your valuable help :)
Best regards

Hello
The VGA will not work since it is not used.
Since your machine is a laptop, you need to connect the screen and then use the keys to "toggle" (often Fn+F4) for the machine's outputs, see your manual.
Best regards
