Hello,
After moving my computer, the graphics card no longer displays images.
I noticed 2 missing solder points on the PCIe port on the card, could the problem come from that?
See photo

Configuration: Windows / Opera 72.0.3815.459

Hello,

it does seem that a copper part is missing on these 2 legs, which could hinder the proper functioning of your card.
I think this can be repaired by a professional with the right equipment.
Then it's a matter of whether it's worth it depending on the value of your card...;)

See you!

Hello,
Thank you for this reply, indeed, it's a RTX 2070 Super, quite recent to try to be saved.
I am still discussing with customer service who does not want to take it back, as it's a break and not a malfunction :/ .
If I have to get it repaired, I will need to turn to someone who does micro soldering, I hope I find someone not far from my home.

Indeed, it's a recent map, how old is it??
They are audacious to say it's broken and not a malfunction!!! Their equipment should hold up better and more than this at the price we pay for it, it's shameful!!

Good luck and happy New Year!!!

The card is just under a year old.

The reseller's customer service tells me that if the card is damaged during transport, the warranty is not valid.

But I have moved my PC in the past without any issues...

The reseller's customer service is sending me to the manufacturer's customer service, which then sends me back to the reseller, so I think that if they don't offer me a solution, I will have to figure it out myself.

Happy New Year to you and Merry Christmas!

PS: I clearly stated to customer service that my PC did not suffer any shock during transport.

Ah OK, and on top of that, it's still under warranty!!! What’s the brand of this card that doesn't take responsibility out of curiosity...??

So the manufacturer is MSI, who is sending me back to Top Achat (where I bought the card) and it's Top Achat's customer service that is blocking.
