Hello,

We bought an HP All in One 24 f0xx computer a week ago.

A week later, overnight, the computer no longer had internet access because it no longer detects the wifi network card (all that appears is airplane mode or Ethernet).
(network adapter realtek rtl8821ce 802.11ac pcie adapter not found)

We tried restoring the computer with the recovery key we made at the beginning: nothing.
We tried detecting it in the device manager: nothing.
Of course, we restarted the computer several times: nothing.
We deleted the card from the manager after advice on a forum; it was supposed to reinstall itself upon restarting, but nothing, and now it doesn’t even appear in the manager...

Does anyone have any idea? We could, of course, go directly to customer service, but the goal is not for them to keep the computer for weeks if it’s just something minor...

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your reply.

No, we did not press the wifi button to disable it ;) (even if there is the same symbol to reactivate it). The airplane mode is the only one left.

On another note, we have fiber and the box is 3m from the computer with thin walls (it worked perfectly for a week, by the way).

We uninstalled the card after advice on a forum, but this only had the effect of removing it and not seeing it appear at all anymore. This card had not been uninstalled before; we had not touched it since everything was working perfectly for a week.

Indeed, the hiccup could also be complex, but we thought it wise to try a little before resorting to technical support.

We continue our research. Thank you for the links, we will try :)
