Hello,
My Siemens Gigaset phone is working, but for the past few days, I haven't been receiving calls. People trying to reach me are going straight to voicemail... my phone isn't ringing

Configuration: Android / Chrome 81.0.4044.117

Hello,
What model is this gigaset?
My Siemens gigaset phone works
It allows making calls but not receiving them, that's the problem?
If so, reset your box.
To do this, unplug it for a minute, then turn it back on.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

OK... but still answer the questions
What model is this Gigaset?
Can you call or not?

It’s a Gigaset A265 (2 handsets). I can make calls with it, but when someone calls me, it doesn’t ring; if I pick up, I can’t answer the incoming call… no missed call notification. For the person trying to reach me, it rings normally, then it goes to voicemail...

OK A265 duo
when I'm called it doesn't ring, if I answer, I don't receive the incoming call
How can you be prompted to pick up the phone if it doesn't ring?
No bell icons displayed on the screen? (a long press on the * (star) key turns off or activates the ringtone)
Is the ringtone volume properly adjusted?

I used my mobile phone to call the landline, and at the first rings (heard on my mobile), I picked up the landline... I didn't retrieve the call.
No bell icon and the volume is set to 5.

Check in your Orange customer space that call forwarding is properly configured like this

How to access this page in the Orange customer area?

Once in the customer space, you look for the "Home" section and there you must find your landline number, you click on it.
A new page opens, you look for and click on "Call forwarding".

I don't have this option since I have a classic landline that is not connected to my live box...
I called Orange customer support, and it seems there is a problem with my line; I should have a response before the 25th at 6 p.m.
In the meantime, thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions.
I wish you a lovely evening...

I don't have that option since I have a regular landline that isn't connected to my live box...
If you had replied this when I asked you to reset the box in message #1... we would have avoided a lot of confusion regarding this issue.

So let's wait for Orange to intervene.

What subscription do you pay for?
A subscription for the landline and also a subscription for the Internet?

So a landline contract at 16 to 18€ + an internet subscription all on a single bill...
Unless I'm mistaken, this type of contract is no longer available for sale these days (discontinued on 07/02/2013)..
Try connecting the phone to the back of the box and test its functionality
- can you make calls?
- if you dial your number from a mobile, does the phone ring and can you talk?.

Edit: do you have an ADSL filter on your telephone line?
