Hello! I have a Huawei Nova3i that is exactly 2 years old and I just realized that the back cover has come loose from the phone (see photo). It must have been like that for 1 or 2 weeks already, but since I have a silicone case, I didn’t really notice and thought it was just the case getting old...
My partner says it’s the battery and it's super dangerous because it could explode at any moment!!
Do you have any ideas or advice on what it could be and especially how to fix it? If I glue it with power glue?
I really want to avoid changing my phone and especially I'm currently stuck in a remote area with no phone or repair shops nearby...
Thank you in advance for your help ????

Hello,
The use of double-sided adhesive in smartphones is common.
To disassemble the smartphone, you need to start by heating it with a hairdryer and inserting a tool to pry open the back.
In other words, it doesn't happen by itself!
This is to explain that if the back is coming off, it means the battery has overheated and has swollen enough to push the back away.
So it needs to be changed urgently!
2 tutorials: The first one clearly shows the problem and the second one is better detailed.

You will easily find a replacement battery.
The issue is the glue.
Definitely no Super Glue.
Instead, use this.

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.
