Packard Bell boot issue black screen

Hello,
I have a problem that has been happening for a few days
I have a Packard Bell laptop "easynote" (about 2 years old)
now, when I want to turn it on
the screen stays black
I have to hold down the power button for a long time and then try again
to make it work (once every two tries)
I have to lower and raise the laptop screen up and down during startup for it to work, otherwise, it's impossible
once it's on, there are no screen issues or anything else..
Thank you for your help!!!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.12

Hello everyone, my friend just lent me his Packard Bell Argo C computer and he had the same problem with his screen. When I turned it on, the screen didn't respond, but if you think logically, in my opinion, when I give you the answer, you'll be thinking "Why didn't I think of that before, lol." Let me explain, when you open and close your laptop, there is a tab (in all laptops) that controls the screen. And YES, when you close your laptop while it's on, it goes into sleep mode thanks to this tab, which is located where the little hooks of the screen latch so that the laptop doesn't open unnecessarily. So turn on your laptop and use something rather thin to gently prod this tab; it's magic, the screen will light up immediately!

I can't see where the tab is.

It's the problem with the screen cable, there's a cover behind it that you need to unscrew delicately and check if the wires are properly connected ;) normally, that's what causes a black screen!
