Unable to open Free remote control cover

Hello,

on Friday, October 30, 2020, I ordered a new remote control for the Free Box at 3244, which I received on Wednesday, November 4.
However, I cannot open the battery compartment of the remote control despite following the correct procedure (squeezing the two circles and pulling the cover).
Following my complaint, I received a second remote control on Friday, November 6... and the same problem, impossible to open!
After my new complaint, I received a third remote control on Friday, November 13... same problem, impossible to open!
And I am trying in vain to find another customer service number or an email address. On their website, the questions do not lead to my problem and I can't find any solutions!
How can one imagine an unreachable provider?
And the staff at 3244 or 1044 never have solutions and refuse to have this remote control delivered by their personnel.
I have been a customer for many years and I am very disappointed with FREE.
It's very easy to order and pay online, but the customer support is totally useless! I am going to look elsewhere.

You will at least make marks on the aluminum of the moving hood.
Press down very hard just below the locations, at the edge of the aluminum hood.

Well! Thank you.

Following an exchange of Freebox V6 remote control (You need an ID and the QR code received by SMS to pick up the Chronopost package, it's cheaper than the other option, package picked up at the local bakery, and if you don't have the QR code, the ID is enough, the baker told us, and you can keep the old remote control, sent in 2 days). for my 82-year-old neighbor, we followed your procedure).

The two little notches were well stuck, now the metal cover comes off and fits without any problem.

The batteries are already inserted, there's just the plastic tab to remove, located on the metal cover.

But part of it got stuck on the cover, where it needs to be pulled down, fortunately without consequences.

There you go, just waiting for the moment when the batteries will be dead to remove the metal cover.

I had to change my remote control last month (one button wasn't working anymore) but I didn't encounter this issue with the stuck cover!

But I understood it well, I had already received 2 remote controls years ago without any problem! On the Internet, there are many identical cases that even lead to the remote control breaking!
And the FREE staff acknowledges it! And what do they do? Nothing!

Make small oscillating movements to help. It’s normal for it to be a bit difficult at first. You should be able to do it.

I saw the testimonials you mentioned. Breaking a remote control when opening it is exceptional.
Remote controls are made in large batches, and the vast majority of users manage to open their remote control, and of course, they don't make an announcement on the Internet.
Free has sent you 3 remote controls. Statistically, it is unlikely that you have 3 defective items.

Don't imagine that Free will send you a technician to open the remote control. Or, it will be charged to you (expensively). By comparison, look at the cost of after-sales service from appliance suppliers: you don't bother them to put batteries in a remote control.

Hello,
I've already received 3 remotes during the replacements of my box, and this problem has always been there... The first 2 times, I managed to open it by forcing it (by hand), but after that, the aluminum cover has never held up again. As for the 3rd one, I'm still contemplating it closed despite all my efforts... It's true that I still don't see why Free doesn't change this system...

Indeed, we received a new remote control today and it has the same issue, we can't open it. However, thanks for the info; by pressing at the edge of the metal (more than on the buttons) and pulling really hard, we managed to get it open.
