Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Hello,

I just bought my laptop.

No issues with starting it up.

However, I cannot download the applications that are already on my Samsung tablet and my Samsung smartphone.

I go to Google Play Store, and I choose the app to download (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Frimake, Discord....) BUT my computer says that the app is already installed and only offers to install it on my tablet or smartphone!!!????

I think Google Play Store is linked to my Google account, but I don’t understand why I cannot download the apps.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sonia

    Hello,
Check if going through this link would suit what you want to do, for example!

It seems that it's possible to communicate, but whether this is what you're looking for is another matter! (I'm not an expert!)
Just trying to move the subject forward

    See you!

    Hello,

Applications for Tablets or Smartphones are managed by the Android operating system, and their applications work with Android...

Your PC runs on Windows, so you need to load applications for Windows... and not for Android... they don't mix and won't work...

You need to learn a minimum of things to get a driver's license... There are rules there too.

      Thank you for this comment.
The little closing phrase, quite gratuitous and nice.????????????
Yes, I know, I've looked and seen this difference, BUT the people I exchange with on FRIMAKE and ZOOM do it on their computers. SO there is indeed a solution.

Fortunately, there are people who are here to help move the issue forward and not to look down on me without providing a solution.....
Thank you to the 2 people who have a positive mindset.

If you had given this information from the start, I could have understood that you wanted to run applications for Smartphone and Android on Windows... like your friends... It wasn't presented that way, sorry for not guessing your wishes...

Yes, that doesn't prevent you from being polite in your response rather than making me look like an idiot.
Fortunately, the other people on this site understood my request....

    Thank you Yvan.
I downloaded Bluestacks yesterday, and then when I type the apps I want to download, it goes back through Google Play Store and it blocks me again...
    I don't understand why.

Hello. I just bought a PC yesterday and I'm having the same problem. Every time I try to download an application, it redirects me to my smartphone. I don't understand.
