No sound on my Xiaomi after a fall in water.

Hello! I was calmly removing my makeup while watching a YouTube video when unfortunately, my phone (a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9) fell into a sink full of water (a drop of about 40 cm into a maximum of 10 cm of water). It still works fine, no bubbles in the screen or touch issues, nothing broken, still just as fast (I’m writing this message with it), but the only problem, which is quite annoying, is that the speaker doesn't work at all. The sound still comes through my headphones, both Bluetooth and wired, but there’s no way to hear anything without headphones, and the headphone icon won’t go away. I tried turning the phone off and on again 10 minutes later, then restarting it, checking my settings, blowing into it and sucking the water out with a straw (which did get quite a bit out), shaking it, fiddling with the headphone jack with the jack plug and a small metal file, and even going to a website that supposedly produces a sound that ejects water from the phone, but nothing works, no sound comes out without headphones (except for the sounds of my keyboard keys, no problem there) which is quite inconvenient, especially for waking me up. I think it must be a loose connection in the headphone jack or something that’s pressing and making the phone think my headphones are connected, so if you have a solution to fix this or even if it’s not that at all and you have another idea, please help me???? I would rather avoid paying 20 bucks for repairs, especially if it can be fixed easily.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Hello
Unfortunately, either you leave it as is or it's a repair.
Water and phones have always been enemies, regardless of the "height" of the water.
Best regards

Oh, by some miracle it works again! The night must have done it some good haha! The sound is just a bit quieter than before, but I'll make do with it. Have a good day!
