Hello everyone, I entered the menu of my recorder, clicked on next, and then my DVR went to a blue screen with a red light. The hard drive is spinning, but I have nothing! I unplugged it and plugged it back in, but nothing. Can you please help me? Thank you.

    Hello,
You can try simply disconnecting the hard drive. There may be a conflict that is causing the issue. Just unplug it, and restart your recorder.

Hello!!! Thank you for your advice, but I have already tried this manipulation and nothing happened. Do you think that the hard drive alone can provide me with the video signal???? Because without the hard drive, I don't even have the cameras in view. Thank you.

It's mainly that the hard drive can cause issues with small bugs, for example.
I had tested with this type of DVR: https://www.camerasurveillance.net/54-enregistreur-numerique-video-surveillance-4-voies.html
And I searched for a fault on it for a long time, and it turned out that the hard drive was the problem because when we removed it, everything worked fine O_o a formatting issue...
The hard drive is only used to store data; you can view it but not record it, though that's not the point. Just try disconnecting it to see if it works, and if so, try formatting it or checking your connection cables.
