Hello,
As explained in the title, I am encountering two problems with my PS4.
The first problem is that I am unable to download the new update 8.00 on my console, and it shows me the error message (SU-42118-6).
I did some research on the topic and tried to solve the problem by myself; I attempted to download the update onto a USB drive formatted in FAT32, but nothing works, still the same error message at the end of the installation.
The second problem is simply the fact that I cannot insert any CDs into my PS4, as if something is blocking the disc drive, even though I have checked and there are no CDs or anything that could be obstructing the drive.
I want to clarify that I have never attempted to open my console and I take good care of it.

I found the real solution to this problem SU-42118-6
Remove your covers and check your (oem disc drive data ribbon cable ps4), make sure it is properly connected and not damaged. If it is damaged, buy a new one and replace it, your update problem will be solved 100%. Have a good day everyone ????
