problem with GIFs Solved

Question

Hello, the issue I'm having on my phone is the following.... when I receive a gif, whether it's animated or not, I can see it in my messages, but when I click to view it in full size and see its animation, I get a blank page and nothing at all... what should I do to resolve this problem??  my phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 7.  thank you in advance for your help

Hello again it may be that your native messaging app doesn’t accept them, that’s why I switched to Google’s "Messages". By the way, for the animations, they are in developer mode, but I wouldn’t recommend going there unless you know what you’re doing. To be sure about the gifs, why not send one via WhatsApp, Messenger, or other contact apps!

Hello have you checked in the settings if your animations are enabled? Otherwise, there are apps in the store that do the job.

Thank you for your response loisou17 but the problem is that I don't know much about mobile devices, where can I find out if my animations are enabled apart from the settings?? what kind of app should I install? (if you have a name for the app)
