Hello to the whole community,
I'm having a little problem with my Dell laptop. It's a Latitude E7440 and since noon, I'm unable to start it. Let me explain.
The PC turns on, but a few milliseconds after displaying the Dell logo, it gives me an error message related to the Intel Boot Agent.
I've tried everything, changing the HDD, unplugging all possible peripherals from the PC, even the HDD, trying to update the BIOS (which was impossible, as F12 does nothing), but the result is the same. I can't start it, and I'm unable to access the BIOS to rearrange the boot order or disable PXE mode.
If you happen to know the solution? I'm starting to despair... I'm thinking that maybe the motherboard took a hit...

Hello,
Your PC has no BOOT on its hard drive... (or even doesn't have a hard drive at all) and it's looking for another boot method... PXE, that's the network... or you have changed something in there..
So you need to
-- repair the Windows boot... Which version..?
-- Or change the drive if yours has major defects...
-- Or consider putting in a new drive and installing a working Windows on it..

That’s what I thought I understood from your explanation, and I have already followed the procedure you gave me. The computer is running on Seven. I changed my hard drive (I had retrieved one that was good on CrystalDisk with 5 hours of work). And even installing this drive on the PC, nothing changes. I can't even request a boot from a USB key by pressing F12, nor access the BIOS by pressing F2.
It turns on, displays the logo, and immediately shows the error message. -

You need to tap F2 before the logo and at the beginning of the logo... After the logo is too late.
The BIOS access key can also be: the keys on the keyboard Del, F2, Esc, F1, or F10
In the "Boot Device" of the BIOS, your hard drive should appear in second position, or even third position... set USB as first and CD/DVD as second and HDD as third... this way, with a USB drive in place at startup, you will be able to boot your PC if it contains a bootable ISO file.
If you install a new disk on the PC, you need to install Windows on it... even if it already contained a Windows from another PC; it is not interchangeable. -

I've already tried but I can't access the BIOS. The only thing I can do is Ctrl + I, which brings me to the RAID menu but everything remains stuck.

it's not normal... or you're just not fast enough... Or the BIOS chip is dead...
Or your disk has flaws... CrystalDisk doesn't prove otherwise...
However, you should be able to boot from a USB stick or a CD/DVD of Linux or Windows. Even if your disk is dead.
