Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

If the Numericable box is connected to a coaxial TV socket, it is impossible to connect a Freebox ADSL there.

The Freebox must be connected to a socket where the telephone line arrives.

    Best regards

Thank you for your reply, but there are still 2 problems when I connect my SFR Box and it has always worked. So what is the difference?

    Best regards

If it was indeed a coaxial TV connection, Numéricable/SFR is the only operator that had this type of connection and this type of network. All the others use telephone lines for ADSL, or now through a fiber optic connection.

Thank you very much, I finally understand why no one has been able to clarify this anomaly for me, which has become clear thanks to you.

So do you think I should return my Free ADSL box or call a technician to install a suitable socket for this Freebox? Thank you for your reply.

      Best regards

What do you have exactly, a free ADSL or fiber subscription?

If it's ADSL, a telephone line is required. Either it exists, or it needs to be installed (Free has to make a request to the operator Orange). When signing up, shouldn’t Free have looked into this???

If it’s fiber, your home, street, and municipality need to be connected to fiber, and a technician will come to install the optical terminal at your place.

I have a Free ADSL subscription and indeed they didn't ask me the question! As you can see, I'm not an expert when it comes to connections and it worked with SFR and Orange before, so I didn't think to ask.

Thank you for your help and I will deal with Free to have them install a way to connect this Box.

      Best regards.

Why orange? If there was an Orange box, there must be a phone line connection.
