Hello,
Today I received some very strange texts from three different numbers and I am very worried. Thank you in advance for being able to resolve this situation. So I got a message from three very weird numbers informing me that I have received a package and that I need to go pick it up, but in a very strange way with a lot of punctuation, especially the at symbol. Here is the text:
You should know that in another message my name is mentioned.
Recently on Instagram I saw an ad stating that they were giving away a lipstick and since I am really foolish, I clicked on it and they asked me to provide all my details: address, first name, last name, phone number, email, and being very naive, I filled everything out but nothing happened, I haven't received any confirmation email for my participation. I think there might be a link between these texts, I am really super worried especially since my address is involved. Thank you in advance for helping me, please! Have a good day :)

Hello
You shouldn’t have replied :-(
These are scams; if the text message doesn’t contain specific information AND you weren’t expecting a package AND the package has no references, you should delete it, period.
There’s nothing you can do except change your passwords on various accounts and, above all, never respond to emails/texts/calls that you don’t recognize.
AND if you have any doubts, for example if you have actually ordered a package, contact the merchant DIRECTLY to verify that the SMS/Email/call is indeed valid, which will often not be the case.
Best regards
