Hello everyone,
Thanks in advance to all those who will give me an answer.
I have a HP Probook 6450b laptop running Windows 10, the built-in microphone does not work
I installed the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC driver in different versions, the currently installed version is 6.10.6275.0 by default for Windows 7 not 10
but it is not stable, it can work only once among dozens of restarts
I tried the troubleshooter but it doesn't work
I also installed the Realtek driver but it doesn't work

could you please help me, I have one of the meetings and an online defense in a few days.
Have a good day everyone
Best regards
dhaim

    Hello,

    Windows + R
    Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.

    Give the hardware ID of the device
    Look at this --> Find the hardware ID of a device
    Post the ID in your next message.

    I tried with this solution, but the same problem: the loudspeaker playback works but the built-in microphone array does not work.

    Windows 10 is not up to date.
    To upgrade it to version 2004:
    Download this --> MediaCreationTool2004 <--
    Run it
    Check --> Upgrade this PC now

    Repair Windows 10. Look at this --> Réparer Windows 10 sans perte de données. If the repair yields nothing, perform a Windows reinstall. --> Comment installer Windows 10. The human being is at its best when things are at their worst.

    The repair did nothing, so did you perform a clean reinstall of Windows?

    The repair and a reinstall didn't help, so probably a defective board.
    See a repairman?

    Good luck.
