Hello,

For a few days, I haven't been able to open Excel, Word, Office files... (the entire Office 365 suite).
When I try to open a file, it says:
"Windows cannot find XXX.docx. Please verify that you have entered the correct name and try again.

I have already tried:
- uninstalling Office 365 and then reinstalling it, particularly using the Windows Support and Recovery Assistant.
- typing the commands dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and then sfc /scannow as explained in other forums.
- running the Avast antivirus: no threats and no malware found.

It still doesn't work; do you have any other solutions?

Thank you!

Hello, in my opinion, this type of error comes from the file itself and not from the Office suite.

I recommend that you navigate back through the directory to your file via your computer's file manager, then click directly on it to open it in Word (docx == Word).

If that doesn't work, your file seems to be corrupted; there are tools to repair corrupted files.

The error you are getting indicates that no file with that name exists in the searched location; this may also mean that you are not looking in the right place.

      Hello,

Thank you for your response, but I have the same problem when I create a new file, whether it's Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, directly on my desktop. So I am looking in the right place, aren't I?
