Fake Windows Alert Message Solved

Hello,

I received a Windows alert message saying that my computer was blocked and that my data was at risk of being hacked and that I needed to contact an advisor at this number: 0176350369. So I did! I ended up speaking to a Windows advisor (whether true or not, I don't know!) who guided me on my computer, asked for an access code and a password to diagnose the problems. I gave them (why???? What an idiot!!) and a series of issues/errors appeared on my computer. Then she told me that a technician needed to intervene. I had an appointment, so I didn't have time to resolve this issue, and she gave me a phone number to contact the technician later: 0970730241. When I got home, my husband unlocked the computer without any issues, and the question is: with the code I provided, are we at risk of having our data hacked, such as our bank account or others?

This is a message about a telephone support scam that aims to make you believe your PC is infected to get you to call a support line...
The goal of this support is to reassure you that your computer is infected in order to ultimately get you to buy software at high prices or subscribe to remote support services, all for prices over 150 euros.
These fake virus messages attempt to block the web browser and indicate that the PC is infected; they come from:
- ads on illegal streaming/torrent sites
- ads on Facebook also promote them.

In the past, phone campaigns where you would receive a call from a technician pretending to be from Microsoft were also used.
Your computer is not infected.

then programs and features.
Sort the list by date by clicking on the column.
Uninstall all software that was installed on the day of the remote access.

For safety, you might also want to change your passwords; the goal is not to infect the computer or retrieve data but to get you to buy cleaning software, antivirus, or get you to subscribe to their support.
