Hello, to date I have sent my first manuscript to the Panthéon publishing house and to my great surprise, they accepted my manuscript. However, I had not considered the fact that a possible financial contribution could be requested for the publication.
I'm not quite sure what to think, what do you think?
Thank you in advance.

    Hello!!

We think that all manuscripts are accepted, which allows for some cash flow at the Pantheon... After that, it will be another story..

    See you later

Hello, a friend got scammed. He gave me his book to read and I was blown away! Yes, even though he paid for editing, his book was filled with French mistakes! As a public writer, author, and facilitator of creative writing workshops, I found it unacceptable that these publishing companies that do not call themselves "self-publishing" but in fact are, because everything is published solely on demand, ask for such amounts. Moreover, there is little to no advertising other than on their website and they accept all books, even if they are terrible or have no interest. For my part, I have corrected books and I recommend and use the site Lulu.com to publish them. If you'd like, we can discuss this over the phone. Send me your number at ***@***

Of course, this is on a friendly and not professional basis. Rest assured that I will not ask you for any money or anything else.

        Best regards

        Giz.

Panthéon has published my novels, the printing work is good, I am happy with the result but I paid very dearly 3800 € per book and for almost no financial return, a hundred euros at most per year. Panthéon does not monitor sales, it delegates to Hachette which only sells by mail order. You have to figure out how to promote yourself and you don't even have your books to sell. One of my books doesn't even exist, everyone who ordered it has confirmed it to me. So beware of Panthéon! They do not promote the books. They do printing work, not publishing. There is deception at the outset.

They accept all manuscripts; they are scammers. I also received a positive response from them, but I did not follow up.

But finding a real publishing house is almost impossible.

    Sincerely,
