Hello,
Despite the rather recurring subject on the forums, very few have answers.
Well, like many people, my Nikon Coolpix P520 stopped working all of a sudden.
I took great care of it and I tried to replace the battery, etc... All the proposed solutions.
However, nothing has worked and I refuse to pay an overpriced repairman.
So I would like to have your advice on how to fix the device myself, at my own risk, since I will get rid of it anyway.
Thank you for your responses, have a good evening.

Good evening,
It's packed with electronics and it's highly miniaturized. I'll spare you the complex mechanism concerning the optics with a precision on the order of micrometers, so without specific skills in this field, you should forget the idea of wanting to repair it yourself.
If it's an electronic failure, how do you plan to identify it?

Well, I think this is a recurring problem among owners of this model, and it might be a power supply issue, so I could maybe fix it myself.
As I said, if it doesn't work at all after that, it doesn't change much for me, but I would still like to give it a try.
You should get a quote.
