Hello,
I bought a waterproof Coolpix camera for 300 euros about two months ago, and it won't turn on anymore. I charged the battery, but it doesn't do anything.
What should I do?

I have had it for about a year, but it only worked for 2 months
so it is no longer under warranty.

It's clever to have waited, now you'll have to pay to repair it or buy a new one!

    Hello

What is the exact model of this device? Perhaps we can find a workaround for a forced startup.

      A boot in safe mode?

+1 HOMBOURGEOIS, really too bad, I fear we won't be able to find a solution here...

      hello sorry for the delay

try this: remove the battery, hold the "power" button for 1 minute.
release the power button and put the battery back in and turn it on normally.

also try connecting it to your PC to see if it is detected; if it is, you can try to perform a factory reset via your camera's utility (you should have the CD that came with the pack) or at worst download it directly from the manufacturer's website.
I also saw that there was a very recent firmware update (04/22/2014)
