Hello,
Today I have a big problem - I've been using Money 2002 for many years. No issues
until today. I switched to Win. 7 - Win. 8 - Win. 10. But tonight I can no longer open MONEY - I find myself on the "Start" menu, I tried to use restoration but the accounts stop in 2018 with unbelievable balances.
What can I do to try to recover the files and what software could replace Money?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Configuration: Windows 10/ Chrome 81.0.4044.138

    Hello ....

I suggest you completely and cleanly uninstall MsMoney since you have a valid backup, then restart the PC and reinstall MsMoney, which you will launch via your backup and everything should be fine in principle
To do this, follow the instructions in the 2 links below
For your information, you will be reinstalling version MsMoney 2005 which is perfectly compatible with version 2002

    Hello .....

I assume that Money is well installed on your machine and that you have a backup of your transactions .....

Which "Start" menu are you referring to ► See you+

    Hello,
Thank you for your quick response.
Yes, Microsoft Money has been installed on my machine for a long time, and until now, it has been working well.
When I click on the Money shortcut, the first page of Money opens (welcome screen from which you need to enter the information to create new accounts). Today I received the following message: Microsoft Money was not installed correctly - please try reinstalling.
I have a backup of my accounts, but I don't know how to recover them or which free new software to choose.
