Plex unable to play video Mi Box S Android TV

Hello everyone.

I'm facing a problem that's really bothering me, and after extensive searching, I can't find an answer.

I set up a Plex server at home using a Raspberry Pi 4, connected directly to my internet box via cable, and the configuration seems to be correct because I have no problems streaming my files on Plex on my computer or phone.
However, my TV box, the Mi Box S, connected to my internet box via Wi-Fi, is having issues. I cannot play videos from Plex. I receive this message: "An error occurred while attempting to play this video; please try restarting the Plex server and this application."
Of course, I have tried the suggestion provided, but with no results.
I also tried a complete uninstallation on both devices, but that didn’t work either.
I even attempted to install an older version of Plex on the TV box, but I couldn’t even get that to work! “Application not installed.”

I’m out of ideas, and I’m asking for your help.
How can I play my media files on this box? Have you experienced similar issues?

    Hi,

    I also have the issue and I found a workaround: in the Plex app settings (Mi Box), there is an option to disable the new player. It is located almost on the last line to the right. By default, it is enabled, but you need to disable it.
