Hello,
MSI Gamer GE75 Raider 9SE, brand new, in service since April 11, 2020.
1) Why has the battery charge been capped at 60% for a few days?
Is there a setting that can resolve this issue?
When I unpacked the laptop and used it for the first time, the battery was at 100%.
Some say it’s a manufacturer restriction to protect Li-ion batteries?
Note that this is a non-removable battery!
Thank you for your attention.

Hi,
it seems to be coming from an MSI software (battery calibration) in order to preserve the battery.
Normally, you can access it through Dragon Center, which should be pre-installed on your PC, and you should be able to modify the battery charge.

In your case, it’s not about calibrating the battery, just changing the charge setting, but at least you can see the software interface and where to look.
