Hello
I own a Philips D455 Duo landline phone with an answering machine. When I receive a call, my phone rings but I cannot answer the call: when I pick up, there is complete silence.
For the caller, my phone immediately sounds busy. Despite several changes in settings, I still cannot answer the call.
Thank you for your advice.

Ok... the handset is indeed related to its base
For answering machine settings refer to the notice excerpt on pages 28 and 30
A good setting for the number of rings is 4 rings (your operator's voicemail is set to 5 rings by default)
Now try resetting the box, to do this cut its power supply (to the box) for one minute and turn it back on..
Then check if the problem is resolved.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

Hello
What are the icons displayed on the screen of the handset(s)
See below
Please specify if any are blinking.
How is your built-in answering machine set up? Simple answering machine or recording answering machine?
How many rings is the answering machine set to pick up after?
Is this phone connected to a box... by cable or via radio (DECT)?

Hello
Regarding the icons:
- battery: 3 bars
- network: 3 bars
- outgoing call: continuous display while scanning outgoing calls
- incoming call: empty list no call
none are blinking
the problem is the same with or without voicemail
I couldn't find the setting indicating the number of rings before the voicemail is activated
The phone is connected to a box via cable
I tried calling from a mobile to the landline again, after searching for the number, the mobile goes back to the home screen, and then the landline starts ringing.
