Hello,
my question is simple but its resolution seems complicated to me...
I have on one side a desktop PC (a tower), with no screen, and on the other side a laptop. I would like to display the desktop on the laptop's screen, via HDMI (the only connection available on both), but I can't find out if it's possible, and if so, how.
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
The HDMI port on PCs is not intended for that; it is an output, not an input.
You can use a desktop PC without a screen remotely over the network. But it needs to be configured and software installed, such as Windows Remote Desktop if it’s a Windows Pro version. And the setup has to be done beforehand with a monitor connected to the desktop.
Best regards
