Smart TV Tcl free wifi not found

Good evening, I just bought a TCL 32ES580 TV and I'm experiencing the same issue with the Freebox Revolution connection. I found a solution: I shared my mobile phone's internet connection so that the TV could update online. It updated and then restarted directly on my Freebox WiFi connection.

And my Freebox is a mini 4k. And the TV couldn't find the Wi-Fi from the box.
Or the TCL brand is allergic to Free. Lol

I have the same connectivity issue. According to TCL, it's because my TV (purchased 1 week ago) is not compatible with the Freebox Revolution... According to customer service, the technology of this box is too old, and therefore I was offered 3 solutions: change the box (price adjustment with Free..), wired connection with RJ45, or purchase a Wi-Fi router... In short, nothing that suits me. I don’t understand how a TV can be incompatible with all existing boxes... So I bought a smart TV that isn't really smart. Nothing in the description or manual provided this information before the purchase.

I have the same issue with a SMART TV THOMSON, which is a subsidiary of TCL, and I called customer service. It's not a problem from FREE, but from them. If you call them, they will send you an email with a procedure to change the TV's software, but I find it absurd that we are the ones who have to carry out these tedious manipulations. I'm afraid I might do it wrong and mess up the TV. I will try to call them back to have them guide me.

At the moment, I invested in a pair of powerline adapters from Amazon and now I have no worries since it's connected via Ethernet to the adapter. But €60 for the pair.

Same for me, I received the TV today. The TV finds several boxes around (especially SFR...) but not my Freebox!

Please, if anyone can help us, that would be great.

You say "TCL smart TV" ... but you don't specify the model... Considering that TCL makes more than one smartphone...

It would be good to specify your models if you want to get help...

It was working very well with our Free Revolution and since we updated the TV (40ES560) it’s impossible to find the Free box. We’ve tried resetting the TV several times but nothing works!!
