Hello,
I’m reaching out because I have a problem with the permissions for my built-in camera on my Mac.
I know a bit about computers, I’m young, so I’ll explain what the issue is and everything I’ve already checked to try to find the source of the problem, so we can save some time.
So, a few months ago or even a year ago, I was using the OmeTv site which requires the camera and audio, I was using it on Safari and everything was fine, I had accepted the camera and microphone permissions. Then bam, one day I enter the URL and before it even asks me if I want to allow the camera and microphone for this site, where I always allowed it before, it just directly tells me: you have denied access to your devices. So I think okay, I restart the site, I restart the PC, I do everything, still nothing, I even try creating a new session, it doesn’t work. Well, I open Safari, go to OmeTV, it tells me what it says, then I click on “Safari” at the top left and go to “settings for this website” and there it clearly says Camera: allow, microphone: allowed, screen sharing: allowed,... okay so it’s not that. I then go back to “Safari” at the top left to go to “Preferences...” then “Websites” then “Camera” and there it says ome.tv -> allow and the same for microphone.
I looked further down in “plug-ins” to click on “Adobe Flash Player” and there it says allow websites to use this plug-in with these settings.
Ome.tv was set to disable, I switched it to enable and it didn’t change the problem.
So I go up a level, I go to “System Preferences” then “Security & Privacy” then “Privacy” and there in “Camera” and “Microphone” it says nothing like only the apps that have requested access to your camera will appear here. But there aren’t any.
I then go back to “System Preferences” then “Flash Player”, “Camera and Microphone” and it’s checked on “ask when a site wants to use the camera or microphone”. And when I go to “site camera and microphone settings”, no sites are displayed.
But I doubt this is really related to Flash because it doesn’t work on Safari and on Chromium either, as it says in the settings of Flash Player: “the settings for this page do not apply to Google Chrome or other Chromium-based browsers.

And that was for Safari, but what I did is I downloaded another browser (Chrome) as soon as it stopped working, and then, well, last night I was on Ometv on Chromium and it was working, then I closed the PC without quitting Chromium or disabling the camera and when I opened it this morning the Chromium page is still there but the camera doesn’t turn on immediately, the screen where I’m supposed to see myself on ometv is black, so I simply reload the site and then it also tells me you have denied access to your devices, which is clearly false, I didn’t deny anything, I didn’t even touch anything between the moment I closed my Mac and when I turned it back on, except for reloading the page.
I read on some forums that some talked about Flash, I really don’t know how it works and if it’s due to that but all the settings are okay. In the meantime, I downloaded Firefox, but strangely it doesn’t work on ometv not because the camera access is denied, there’s no problem there, but it tells me, your camera is already in use by another window on a browser. Even though all the others are closed, so now I’m starting to have a serious problem.
If anyone has had this before. Thank you for your help!!
Configuration: iPhone / Safari 13.0.5

But if I open Photo Booth, then there’s no problem, the camera turns on and everything works normally.
