Hello,
I'm struggling with Cubase. I've been tearing my hair out for two hours, so if you have a solution, I'd appreciate it.
I want to record my voice.
My mic (a Rode NT2-A) is connected via XLR to my external sound card.
When I create a new project, I get an error message telling me that recording is not possible when I try to create an audio track to record myself.
Well.
So I opened an old music project I had made, and miracle, I can record on the vocal track. Everything works. However, the edits I had made (reverb and others) are still there, and I don't know how to disable them.
I then opened another project where I hadn't touched my voice, but when I try to record the same way on the vocal track, the recording starts normally, but there’s no sound when I play it back.
If you have any ideas on how to solve any of these three problems, I would be really grateful. It reminds me why I stopped using Cubase: I spend more time getting bogged down in computer issues when I just want to click a button and play music.
Thank you for your help.
