Hello,

I have some video recordings that I tried to make on the Zoom software, but when closing both meetings, the software only recorded two .zoom files (double_click_to_convert_01.zoom and double_click_to_convert_02.zoom). I therefore do not have an MP4 video and I need it in order to share them. How can I convert or view them?

    So I had this problem and I followed the resolution in German. Thank you
    But I wondered, and actually, here's what I did:

    For my files not converted to the .zoom format, I asked to open with; choose another application; look for another application on your PC; copy the address below

    C:\Users\...(your name)....\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin_00

    Select the exe file below

    zTscoder.exe

    And there you go!.... the conversion restarts by itself!....
    You get a nice converted video file.

      Sorry, I didn't understand the solution. I have two files, and the conversion doesn't work with double-clicking.

      Dear Assia, you are located in Libraries/Documents/zoom/xx-xx 12.35.22

      Inside, you will find 4 files -

      audio_only.m4a.tmp
      double_click_to_convert_01.zoom
      double_click_to_convert_02.zoom
      zoom_0.mp4.tmp.

      These files are not recognized or openable by Windows.
      To perform the conversion, you need access to: zTscoder.exe
      To find it, open a file explorer window, in the search box (top right, with the magnifying glass) copy the name of the software (Windows will find it in user........Roaming\Zoom\bin_00)

      Then right-click on one of the files to access its properties:
      double_click_to_convert_01.zoom
      or
      zoom_0.mp4.tmp
      also works!

      - Opens with: xxxxx
      - click on: Modify
      - choose from the list: more applications
      - then - browse for another application on this PC
      - and in C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin_00
      You select: zTscoder.exe; you confirm and normally the conversion starts by itself.
