Hello,

I need to change the fransat card in my Samsung TV with a satellite dish (message received on the screen). No one can explain to me how to open the fransat decoder to remove the old card (fransat or samsung)! Thanks to the members of "how it works" who can help me.

    You're welcome, the card must be a PC6; otherwise, it needs to be replaced:

    Your story isn't clear, at the same time...

    Where is your "FRANSAT" card? In a decoder? Directly on the TV?

    If it's in the decoder, the card should probably be inserted on one of the sides of the device, like in a banking terminal.

    On the TV, it should be at the back, slipped into the adapter.

        So, it's not the FRANSAT card of your Samsung TV, but that of your decoder... Not the same story.

        For the decoder, we would need to know the brand and model to be able to tell you.

        I am not going into details; I am not a technician in this kind of work. It is a FRANSAT decoder. I need to order a card from FRANSAT. I have to remove it from the decoder to get the numbers and send them to Fransat. (between 15 and 20 €) thank you for your information.

    Did you manage to remove the card from the decoder without going into details?
    Otherwise, what is its complete reference?

    Hello Andy; Thank you for your response. Yes, I was able to remove my fransat card from the fransat decoder. I read the reference numbers. I need to order the new card. I was given incorrect information regarding the card activation.
