Hello,

For several days, a white rectangle (5x3cm) has been appearing in the middle of my screen. It sometimes shows up when I go online. I can't move it. If there’s a folder behind it, I can select it. The only way to remove it is to restart my Mac. But it keeps happening all the time...

Good evening,

A lead: it could come from an extension related to a recently installed application, where a dialog window is not closing properly... I see in the Dock applications that I don’t recognize, maybe one of them...

I have no idea what version of the OS is used on this Mac, perhaps an incompatible extension? A daemon or StartupliTem that launches at startup?

In System Preferences / Users and Groups / your User account / Login Items… do you see any unnecessary or unknown items?

Try cleaning with the appropriate version of Onyx for the current OS:
https://www.titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html

If needed, try a repair (SOS) after booting from the recovery partition - example of procedure for versions after OS X 10.10:

If you need to remove adwares:
https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-37636572-supprimer-adwares-et-publicites-indesirables-sur-mac-os

If after all that it continues, you will need to analyze a report made by EtreCheck, the free version is sufficient:

Best regards.
