Hello,
When I select a paragraph to indent it with a tab, it gets deleted.
I've tried checking the box "set left and first line indents using TAB and ENTER keys" and unchecking it in the AutoCorrect tab, but it doesn't change anything. Either the text disappears, or it only moves by the automatic tab stop points.
I don't know what to do to fix this issue.
Thank you for your help.

Hello
We don't know how you proceed.
Anyway, if you select the paragraph and press the tab key:
- if the option you're talking about is unchecked, your paragraph will be replaced by a tab... and will therefore normally disappear.
- if the option you're talking about is checked, your paragraph will move to the right with an indent.
If that’s what you’re interested in, you can adjust the indent by dragging it on the ruler: grab the bottom triangle of the ruler and slide it where you want.
Otherwise, the other solution, just as simple:
click in your paragraph and open the Paragraph dialog box, and set the desired value for Left indent.

Thank you for your response.
I must have expressed myself poorly.
If I take the example of an address block, the tabulations (right, left, centered, etc.) only work if I press the tab key line by line. I thought we could move everything at once, but if that's the case, I'm not able to do it and I don't know why. Whether I set my tab directly on the ruler or through the paragraph box makes no difference.

I don’t understand...
Already I feel like you're confusing indents and tabs...
To create tabs, yes you need to press the tab key.
Now you're taking the example of an address block, that’s a field, so it's something specific...

I'm talking about tabulations.
In summary, what I would like to know is whether it's possible to apply a tabulation to multiple lines at once. That is to say, select data across multiple lines, place the tabulation directly on the ruler or via the paragraph box, and move everything by pressing the tab key.
If we're supposed to be able to do it, I can't seem to manage, and I don't know why.
