Remove the display of tab arrows

Hello,

I'm using Word 2007, and every time I hit the tab key, an arrow appears on the page. It's not visible when printed or in the print preview, but I can't get rid of it on my word processing page.
Do you know how to remove the display of this tab arrow?

... and also check in Office Button/Word Options/Display that you haven't inadvertently checked, in the section "Always show these formatting marks on the screen", the option "Tabs".

Hi, you must have pressed the button that allows displaying text formatting.

Just click on it again to remove the option.

No, not at all, this button is not activated but the arrows still appear, I can't find how to remove this display on my tabs.
These arrows are then no longer visible when printing and in the print preview.

Hello,

I would like to support D'Arthéoss's answer; it is indeed this button that needs to be deactivated. Click on it and the spaces represented by dots, paragraph breaks, and tab arrows will disappear. There is no other action needed.
