Attachment issue with Thunderbird Solved

Question

Hello to all CCM members
And since we are in January, happy new year to everyone.
Since I switched to Windows 10, when I choose "send to" I get an OUTLOOK error message "No profile has been created. Please select the Mail/Fax icon in the Control Panel to create a new profile"
However, I do not use Outlook, but THUNDERBIRD which is properly set as the default email client in Settings/Apps/Default Apps/Email.
I have scoured "high and low" all the configuration settings without finding anything else that could be modified.
I don't know what to do anymore.

for that do:
Type PowerShell in the search box
> Run as administrator > Windows PowerShell (admin.)
> Copy/paste the following command and press Enter
Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage

However, I don't understand jfmimi's response "check that the mail app has disappeared".
In any case, validating "Send to - Recipient" still triggers the OUTLOOK error message specified in my first message.

check in Settings -> Apps -> Default apps at the bottom of the page go to Set defaults by app Click on Thunderbird -> Manage check that MAILTO is properly associated with Thunderbird

Hello,
I followed the recommended procedure.
I created a file with the .mapimail extension.
When I right-click on the file and choose "open with Thunderbird," my messaging app opens with the .mapimail file as an attachment.
But this doesn't solve my problem of sending the selected photos in the explorer using the "send to" command.

Yes. I have Outlook installed. But it is included in Office. I did think about uninstalling it. But it doesn't appear in REVO UNINSTALLER. Only Office appears.

Hello,
When launching the repair option, it is not possible to select the removal of Outlook (nor any other, for that matter).
I uninstalled Office 2007.
I tried "send to". As expected, I no longer have the Outlook error message; but I received a message saying that no default mail client is associated.
Yet Thunderbird is well set as the default mail client. MAIL TO is properly linked to Thunderbird.
What should I do?
In the meantime, I will reinstall Office, as I need to work on Excel.

The customize option displays the different components, but it is impossible to select any. In any case, Office installs completely. (Office 2007)

By choosing "Customize", the list of components is displayed. If you click on one of them, whether it's a right-click or a left-click, nothing allows you to select whether you want to install it or not.
I tried clicking on Excel and "Next". Office installed with all the components!!!
If it is possible to select only one component, how should we proceed?
