Hello,
I have a problem with Thunderbird, it doesn’t save sent messages.
When I send a message it tells me:
An error occurred while copying the message to the Sent folder. Try again?
I then click “Cancel”
and it shows up:
The message was sent successfully, but it couldn't be copied to the Sent folder. Do you want to return to the compose window?
Thank you for your help, I am desperate.

The solution:
1/ Tools > Account Settings
2/ Click on 'Copies and Folders' on the left side
3/ On the right side,
a) Set for "When sending messages, place a copy in":
Other folder: Account name > Incoming Mail > Inbox > Sent
b) Set for "Keep drafts in":
Other folder: Account name > Incoming Mail > Inbox > Drafts
There you go :)
