How to connect a Bose Acoustics 5 system (4 to 8 ohms) with 2 Kef Coda 9.2 speakers (6 ohms) to a Luxman LV121 amplifier ...
On A or B (Speaker 8~16 ohms)?
Or on A and B (Speaker 16 ohms minimum)?

    Hello,
    if you connect 4 Ohm speakers to a 16 Ohm amplifier output, you will fry everything.

    "working with a relatively low impedance (4 ohms, 2 ohms) requires the amplifier to make relatively significant 'efforts.' An amplifier operating at 2 ohms will heat up much more if it hasn't been designed (or calculated a bit too close) compared to operating at 8 ohms."

    It’s actually strange that your amplifier doesn’t accept speakers under 8 ohms. Have you never experienced overheating since your speakers are 6 ohms?!!!

      Hello, thank you for your information. In fact, my 2 Bose double-cube speakers are rated for 4-8 ohms ...
      ... and my amplifier only works on the right channel now ... whereas it was perfect at the beginning of my installation over 10 years ago ...
      What is written in the manual / Bose:
      "Your speaker system is designed to be used with an amplifier or receiver of 10 to 200 watts per channel at an impedance of 4 to 8 ohms. For more information, please refer to the manual for your amplifier or receiver."
      How can I resolve my problem?
