Hello,
To access the wave transition, I have to add a transition at the beginning and end of the clip; otherwise, I cannot access the wave function. However, when I select wave, a grayed-out submenu appears indicating "entrance transition" "exit transition," and it is not possible to select either option, so the wave function does not activate.
Thank you for your help
Configuration: Android / Chrome 79.0.3945.93

Hello, I think I can help you. I tested it successfully because I thought I once read the word "wavy." I wanted to retest to respond to you, but I no longer see the word wavy.
However, if I apply a transition to the first image, I click on the second image with ctrl A, go to my last image, my transitions are applied to the entire selection, and I hit "enter".
Memo:
Apply a transition to the first image, click on the transition panel.
Right-click, and on the right panel, click on transition.
Select the second image ctrl+A (select all group) and paste.
I await your news.
We can select images one by one with ctrl and hit enter.

No satisfactory response from Corel who blames the installation of Windows (it was a new pre-installed PC). I ended up giving up on using this software to return to Pinnacle 17 which works. I admit I was not satisfied with how Corel handled the issue.

I have version 20.5 ultimate
"sometimes" if I didn't explain myself well, we apply a transition to a scene, ok we click on the transition pane on the scene, we right-click and on the right list that appears, we click on "transition" and then on copy which is indeed present
if unsuccessful, send a ticket to Corel, it's not acceptable when there are free software that does the job

Hello, give the name of your transition so that I can make an attempt; I can't find wave

Hello, thank you for your help.
This is the "Wipe Transitions" function. In principle, this function is accessible after adding a transition at the end of a clip, then selecting all the clips to which you want to add the transition. You then need to right-click on the clip containing the transition to access the "Wipe Transitions" function. In this case, to obtain the wipe transition function, you need to add a transition at the beginning of the clip to access the wipe transitions function. By right-clicking, a submenu appears offering "In Transition" and "Out Transition," which are grayed out and therefore not selectable, blocking the implementation of the "Wipe Transitions" function.
Thank you again for looking into my problem. -
Hello, you refreshed my brain; I have taken only photos for the moment. I chose 6 files, I applied a fade transition on the first file, I selected the files (ctrl+a) right-click ripple, ok the transitions are applied to the 6 files without any further action

Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately, Corel did not resolve the issue and after advising me on multiple manipulations, uninstalling and reinstalling, creating a new account, they eventually told me that the problem was due to a Dll file (which you had told me from the beginning) and that I needed to contact Microsoft. For your information, it was a new PC with Windows 10 preloaded. Pinnacle 17 that I have since installed on this PC seems to be working correctly. Thanks again for your advice.

Thank you very much for your response and for the time you dedicated to my issue. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on my software. Could it be an installation problem? I will try again after a new installation. Thanks again.

Hello, if you still have grayed out options, you're missing a DLL (micro file). I advise against uninstalling your software as it's delicate. Send a "ticket" to Corel to describe your issue, which will provide you with the steps to recover this function in the registry and see the step-by-step procedure to properly reinstall your software if necessary.

Hello,
I haven't forgotten you, but I am still in contact with Corel (who respond very quickly and in great detail) to solve my problem. As soon as a solution is found, I will be sure to keep you informed.
Best regards.

Hello,
I have the same problem - Have you received the fix or a solution from Corel? Thank you. -
Hello Vosges and welcome as a new member. I went back to the question, I had a "vision," I think I saw "wave" in the window, I'd be willing to swear it, and then I never saw it again—mystery!!!!!!!
Let's forget that! Because I managed to select a transition and duplicate it across the entire project
We apply a transition to an image okay, we click on the transition pane, copy, select the second one, then ctrl+A and "paste" all the transitions are pasted
We can select as many as we want by holding ctrl and shift and clicking on the last thumbnail

Hello,
have you resolved the issue?
I have Studio Ultimate 23 since recently. I can't duplicate a transition across multiple clips. The ripple function doesn't work. (it remains grayed out).
Thank you for your help.- Hello and welcome as a new member, and for the first message, I think I can give you the solution
I have studio 20.5 and I think you can do it with 23 too, there’s no reason not to: apply the transition on the first scene right-click on the transition pane, transition, copy select the number of scenes you want, go to the last scene with the mouse cursor and "paste" the transitions are all displayed.

Hello,
Upgrade from Pinnacle 23 to 23 Ultimate and it works.
