Hello and welcome as a new member. Your camera is not in miniDV format, and a proprietary utility is not necessary; you only need to transfer by copying and pasting the recorded files (scenes) from the memory card. Then, to assemble the scenes into a clip, use editing software. If you have Windows, use "Photos"; there are tutorials on YouTube to guide you.
