Hello,
I just noticed that Total AV has charged me 118.80 for a subscription renewal that I never requested.
Is there a way to get my money back?
Thank you

Hello,
Total AV is a scam see this page you subscribed because if they made a charge it means they have your bank details and only you could have given them.
Get a refund see this page.
Also see this page and this page.
See paragraph 7 of this page.

I am in the same situation as you, a deduction of €118 came out of nowhere.
I then discussed through the online chat on the TotalAV website, showing them that I had never subscribed to such an offer and that, given the amount, I would never have done so. After a few exchanges, the person I was corresponding with tried, of course, to dissuade me but to no avail.
They then sent me a cancellation link with a refund. The first page offers you to keep your protection but with a refund of €50. If you refuse and proceed to the next step, a second page offers you a refund of €80 as well as an 80% discount on the coming years. I accepted this offer since the price is quite acceptable for Pro mode protection. The billing status changed to "partially refunded." I should receive it during the week.
Hoping this helps you.
P.S.: I’ve set a reminder on my computer and phone for next year to remind me to be careful.
I subscribed on December 11, 2021, but after reading the comments, I immediately did everything I could to retract my subscription. First, since I paid via PayPal, I went to disable the direct debit authorization linking me to Total AV (I actually discovered this authorization afterward as I had not requested anything during the payment!!!!!). Then, I sent an email to TOTAL AV to report their dishonest way of handling things and my desire to cancel immediately with a request for a refund. I received a quick response indicating that I should think it over. I immediately replied that my decision was already made. A few hours later, TOTAL AV responded offering me a discount for the renewal.....I declined. TOTAL AV then explained how to cancel through my account. As it was incomprehensible, I let them know via email. And then, I received a link that allowed me to end this subscription and indicated an immediate refund. To top it off, PayPal informed me today, December 14, that the refund is in process.
Conclusions: you should not give up and write to them, explaining that even if their terms of sale are not misleading, their way of operating remains dishonest. Regarding the email address I used, it's the one that starts with billing.
GOOD LUCK BUT DON'T GIVE UP!
